An Evening with Richard O'Brien - DVDAn Evening with Richard O'Brien has now been released on region free PAL DVD

An Evening with Richard O'Brien - DVDRecorded in New Zealand in 2008, Mark Sainsbury hosts and evening with Richard in front of a live studio audience.

The show was recorded in Hamilton, New Zealand (where the statue of Richard as Riff Raff was erected) and starts with a conversation about how he created Rocky Horror.

He also talks a great deal about his ealry own life in Hamilton.

I would say that Mark Sainsbury is a great host, as he asks some leading questions, then sits back enough for Richard to give some full and fascinating anwers.

Richard plays a song or two on the guitar - one of which we'd not heard before. He also sings a number from "The Stripper" acapella.
