From Funko, come a series of vinyl figures to tie in with the 40th anniversary of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

The series has six figures, Dr. Frank-N-Furter, Janet Weiss, Brad Majors, Riff Raff, Magenta and Columbia. I would have loved to have seen a Rocky as well as at least an Eddie, so let's hope they add to the series at some time.

Each of the figures comes in a nice sized (160mm x 115mm x 90mm) display box complete with cartoon character drawings of each character. The figures themselves stand around 110mm tall, with the exaggerated heads around 80mm wide by 60mm deep. I say stand, but to be exact balance would be a better word. The heads on each figure can rotate 360 degrees and unless they are square on most of the figures do not stand up without a little blutac to hold their feet in place. Brad for some reason has huge feet, Janet can you answer that old rumour there.....

I think they missed a trick as the figure is all that is included in each box. I would have put a little fold out page in with each figure with some more information on each character, or perhaps a little collectors certificate?

The figures are in themselves quite cute, but are very much caricatures rather than screen accurate copies of the actors. I like them, but much prefer the previous release of The Rocky Horror Picture Show figures from Headliners or Vital Toys
