Nigel is a founder member of The Comic Strip group, trained at LAMDA and has worked extensively in theatre, film and television as an actor and writer.

Film credits include "Guilty Secrets" (Zephyr Films). "Bright Young Things" (dir. Stephen Fry), The "Wind in the WilIows" (Disney). "Carry on Columbus" [Tony Garnet], "More Bad News/Strike" (Comic Strip) and "Brazil" (Universal).

Theatre credits include Darwin in "Mallbu" (Hampstead). Pop in "We Will Rock You" (original cast, West End), "A Small Family Business" [Chichester Festival), "Feel Good" (Hampstead and West End), High Life (Bush), Amos in "Chicago" (orlglnal West End cast, Adelphi). "All's Well That Ends Well" (Regent's Park], "Die Fledermaus" (ENO), "Nicholas Cralg" (Hampsteadl, "Evita" (original cast. West End); "Neil" {international tour, Edinburgh and Hammersmith Apollo), "Outer Limits" (tour and London), "Comic Strip" (Comedy Store and international tour1 and "Badnews Live" (tour and London. Hammersmith Apollo).

Television includes, for the BBC: "The Last Detective, Two Lumps of Ice, Frankenstein's Baby. The Naked Actor/Masterclass, Blackadder III, The Young Ones, The Lenny Henry Show, French and Saunders". and The Trials of Oz". Other television work includes "The Bill" (Thames), "The Grimleys" (Granada), "The Comic Strip Presents" (Channel 4) and "Saturday Night Live" (LWT).

Nigel is currently to be heard as the voice of "Grizzly Tales for Gruesome Kids" on CiTV.
