Julian has written songs for Sheena Easton, Sister Sledge, Charlie Dore, Toto Coelo and Philip Bailey. He has played with Gerry Rafferty, Dexy's Midnight Runners, Pete Townshend and his music has been featured in Playing for Keeps (Miramax Pictures) and Lukas and Protocol, starring Goldie Hawn. Julian is lead guitarist in the current line up of folk rock group Steeleye Span and has just produced the new Charlie Dore album Cheapskate Lullabies.
