don't think i'll bother going to the show at all - i'll just read all the spoilers



i'll save all the ticket money , the time of gettin to the theatre , parking fees, the petrol money, the possibility of getting beaten up by idiots for being dressed up for the show - the chance of being sexually molested by a desperate escapee from the local asylum ???



got to admit - the idea has its good points !!!



PLUS - if I don't turn up then someone else will know that THEY have the best outfit in the theatre !!

no - definitely not mad - my jason comment was based on what i saw - him forgetting his lines - regularly - and being heckled by the audience - i am not criticising you with your comment - you must have seen him on a good day



regarding the other comment - i travelled to see mr bedella in sheffield twice - leeds - leicester - nottingham - northampton - grimsby - manchester twice and at other venues - - even aylesbury on the last show with a 100 mile drive home afterwards - reason - i love the show - but although david bedella was fantastic - at all of them - the changes in narrator made a vast difference to the enjoyment - tim brooke taylor seemed to leave no gaps for the audience - dave spikey was great - so - if i find that i dont like this particular version - then the tickets will go on sale - I really dont see the point in going to a show again - if you decide that you dont like the first showing. I really hope that both I - and my psychology critic - really enjoy the show - and can agree we both had a good time.



this cast has a lot to live up to with the quality of the last tour - but who is taking over when the leads go - very quickly in my opinion.

Is Miss Tery Mad? Jason was amazing! I agree that David Bedella was born to play the part and he does love it so although it plays havoc with his feet (so he told me last tour in Cardiff). How can you sell your ticket if you don't like the actor? Surely it's Frank we love! Waiting in An-tic-i-pation for Cardiff. Yey!

thanks for putting the aylesbury car park charges msg up - noticed that there is a pub opposite the theatre - and a load of bus stops as well - "running the gauntlet" back to the car park springs to mind - hope the drunk locals are friendly to chaps in heels and wigs etc !! and closer inspection on google maps shows there may be cctv - looks like just 2 cameras halfway up a lamppost in the middle.



had a look at leicester too - hope the show is at de montfort again - car park built in !! - -if it gets put on at the new theatre - the curve -there is a carpark right at the side of it - had a look on the NCP site - - -- but - - -WOW - -£2 for 30 minutes - - -- if you park furthest away from the entrance the time will be up before you get out of the car park !!! - - - anybody want to start a carpark firm and make money???

had a look at the website for aylesbury theatre - noticed that the carpark at the side of the theatre and canal is now closed - but there is one opposite the theatre - not a multi storey - open plan floor level - had a look at the entrance/price board on google maps and they certainly mean to take money from that one - and there doesnt even appear to be any cctv watching it - dont mind paying for a "secure" space - but dont think i will be attending aylesbury again after this time.

up early on the 15th and off through the rush hour to park in sheffield for the tickets going on sale for the lyceum. got down to the box office only to find they dont open the doors till 10am - bloody cold sat outside for half hour- and they seem to have removed the cafe - couldnt get a mug of tea either.



but was first in and get the tickets i wanted for the sat night

why is the tour listed as a 12 month tour? - the others have took 18 to get round everywhere. - - is there a lot of places not being visited? - -went to manchester twice last time - -so must be a good earner for the theatres - - - - and any notification of who replaces the people who are leaving after a short time? hope mr franks is better as a narrator than on the telly - he drives me nuts.

the press release for the new tour, who wrote it??? - the comment of "dressed in your most outrageous fancy dress" - - have i been wrong in thinking that the idea was to go as a character of the show? - or does it make sense to have a "giraffe" or two man horse turn up? - have a guess that the press release was written by someone who has never even seen the film - never mind the live theatre show

just had look at the "who's frank" video on you tube - not a clue - never heard of oliver thornton - as regarding the comments underneath - hope its not jason donovan - and also hope its NOT noel fielding - the part needs an actor - i think noel would just want to pratt about - having seen the show over 5? or more tours i believe 2 characters "make" the show - frank -and the narrator. if either of these are wrong then the show is spoilt. - the only bad "frank" i have seen was jason - and the bad narrator was mr booth - cherie blairs relative - he was bloody awful in my opinion

also tim brooke taylor at grimsby -wasnt much better, the rest of the franks have been great - the rest of the narrators i have seen were great - nicholas parsons was probably the best, closely followed by the marvellous mr biggins himself - the best frank - mr bedella. he played the part perfectly - as if that was a real life he had lived. - -CANNOT see noel fielding playing frank - think he would want to play noel fielding in outfits. whoever it is, i find out if they are any good at aylesbury - if i dont like them playing the part then any other tickets i get will go up for resale.

no news from sheffield yet- cannot see why they wouldnt have it as the staff told me last time that they absolutely love having it - saying that "you lot are wonderful" - and they love the costumes- personally like sheffield for the nearness of car park and the "square" outside the 2 theatres with no traffic - derby is trying to get a new theatre in the near future - hopefully they will plan a car park nearby or even integrated into the side or rear of the building - -is derbyshire one of the few counties that does NOT have a large theatre- big enough to hold over a thousand rocky fans? think the closest is stoke, nottingham, sheffield, manchester or leicester - depending on where in the county you live

am i being a bit too eager?? - with 5 months before the first show - which i wont be able to go to -i tried the magenta outfit for size - and managed to catch the heel of my boot and rip the lace edging around the net underskirts -



AAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRGGGHH !!!!!



- i was up till 4 am sewing it back on - and i am not even at work or had anything planned for the following day



well - a "girl?" has to be sure the outfit is right - yeah?

i'm already spreading the word of the new tour to some people who haven't been before. one is a singer (who i spoke to while at the sewing place) - who at the time argued that as SHE couldn't walk in 4" stilletto heels then i couldn't - WRONG.



the people who work in the same sewing place are on for making their own outfits to go and while there handing out business cards - a place to get stuff made after seeing the quality of work cant be a bad thing.: ( they have made stuff for rocky fans before)nhappy:



the third is a woman who i just met in a shop ( we dont know how we got on to RHPS) who is already looking for outfits for her and a friend - even though i have told her that no details are available yet -

out comes the maids outfit and new apron - the full length fake fur coat will get spruced up and the wigs washed. this time i want to get a full set of nails on for a show. ive had them on four times already for practice- longest for 5 days while off work - under gloves of course - all respect to the ladies who wear them all the time - but the effect is fantastic.

Hi!. Just wanted to say that Rocky Horror has entered the world of garden design! I have just been selected to build a show garden at Gardener's World Live and the title of the garden is "Don't dream it - be it!". No prizes for guessing where that came from. I've been a fan of Rocky Horror since I first saw it in London when I was 13ish (now I'm 50, so it was a long time ago - original production with Tim Curry in), so when trying to think of a title for a garden representing a change in career from accountant to garden designer I suddenly got those words and tune playing through my head. Anyway, something worked and now I'm off to the NEC to build my show garden. Trouble is I haven't got any money! Are there any Rocky Horror fans out there who are involved in the horticultural or building world who could help with sponsorship at all - even if its just discounted materials or plants I'd be eternally grateful. Cheers and keep up the good work - I had no idea there was such a cult going on.

I have finally converted the majority of my friends and will now be hosting a Rocky Horror themed night in March, in full costume. Was at the final show at the Palace theatre in Manchester on Saturday night, absolutely fantastic, what a show. David Bedella as Frank was superb, the closest I've seen to Tim Curry, what a star, brilliant performance by all the cast, total fun:):)

went to the saturday late show in Leeds - had to get courage to change in the car park about 100 yds away and then walk and cross the junction. as i came round the corner of the pub and into full view of two sets of headlights a great cheer went up - hope it was for me though cant see why - well over 6ft in 4" heels boots and a red wig - with a magenta outfit covered by a full length fake fur coat - not exactly a view to cheer at !! - good show but kept wanting to laugh at riff raff - seemed more comedy than sinister - came to going out time and hope that some drunk yobs were not going to be outside - worse - the police van was sat opposite - and as i got to the car park entrance the police siren kicked up and i had to get out of the way of it as the van used the exit road to go to the call - really i think they just wannted a closer look !!! may i take this opportunity to apologise to west yorks police for the trauma of seeing me like that - i hope the officers have a full recovery and are back at work soon !!! - anyway managed to get to the car park only to be shouted at by some youngsters - told them if they thought i looked bad then they should see some of the others !! only manchester to go - hope to have a full set of false nails on for that one !!!

Although a HUGE fan of the film, went to my FIRST Rocky Horror Show in Blackpool on Friday (22nd Oct) with my girlfriends - hubby paid for my ticket for my birthday! Second row, buzzing atmosphere & really friendly people!! Absolutely Frankie-fantastic!! Didnt want it to end! Hit the bars afterwards, especially Roxy's where we ended up on stage doing some RHS moves! On a bit of a downer now but roll on the next tour!!! XX

I have seen the show many times now and can't get enough of it! I'm driving to Wales tomorrow (5 hours away) to see the matinee and I'm so excited! I have even had to pull a sickie at work as I had no more holiday left...Lol

Booked for Ipswich next saturday too... and going to the Halloween party in Birmingham... I can't even explain how happy this show makes me!

I have just got back from the Rocky Horror Show in southend, it was out of this world amazing!! I cant even beging to explain how much I enjoyed it! really want to go see it again and soon! :P All the actors were outstanding! And the band were so amazing! :P

Hi Everybody!

I´m gonna come from germany to the picnic next week with my wife - we´ll stay in London the week before and then spend the last night in Frank´s Castle!

If there´s anyone who could give us a lift from London or a pick up from a train-station near Oakley Court (Slough or Maidenhead or Windsor Railway Station) it would be very helpful for us! Otherwise we´ll have to walk to the castle like Brad and Janet, but we always prefer to be Riff and Magenta...
