Playing the lead role of Frank N Futer was a professional actor called Matthew James who trained at Arts Ed Theatre school in London. Apart from the usual theatre history of the actor, the page also included a photo of Matthew as Frank which is similar to the drawing of Frank on the cover. This make up and look only appeared for publicity shots as Matthews make up, wig and costume design radically altered for the actual show.
