The cast kindly invited me backstage for a chat and to see the set. Matthew was pictured here outside his dressing room having removed his Frank shoes to give his feet a rest. Matthew said he was thrilled to have won the role and was enjoying appearing in the show, playing a character that was so not like him. He said his friends and family on the Island had loved the show and he was sad that is was only a short run.

Matthews characterisation of Frank was softer than many of the actors who had played him, while his vocals more than carried the demands of the role.
