That was the year that was, the best bits of 2004:

We had our 500,000th actual site vistor this year
The first UK Convention for five years took place at Dammit Janet!
Singalonga RHPS continued to mixed reactions
Chocky Horror bars proved popular on 1st April
We got a nice new chat room with no adverts
Lot's of new merchandise products added to the site
including a special edition RHPS DVD Box Set

The not so good bit:

Fay Wray passed away in August
Someone tried to sell fake DVD's of the Transylvania charity video on Ebay!
(it was reported to ebay and the item removed)

We're still awaiting the return of the UK stage show

27.12.04 Merry Christmas from TimeWarp! Not much in the way of updates this week as we are enjoying the break from work, you should be doing the same! Drink lots! (to absent friends) We did lose the last three Guest Book entries to be sent, no idea why our computer decided not to download the messages, maybe it had been drinking too! +TV, +GB

19.12.04 We've added a London RHPS movie screening with "Less Vunerable" for January 2005 to the stage show dates/film screenings page. Nice to see another real date added, hopefully we'll see a lot more in 2005. If you missed it on the way in, our main welcome page gets the Christmas treatment once again. Our Competition and monthly Poll for December continue. +TV, +GB

We are still keen to hear what you think of the Singalonga shows, please visit the TimeWarp singalonga page and send us some more feedback. Are they getting better? Is it good value for money? Did you enjoy yourselves? The cast of "Neighbours" do Rocky Horror, yet that's what we thought. Nikki spotted this feature on the BBC web site and posted it on our forums. Click here for a link to the BBC web site. TWW does not admit to watching the programme at all, you cannot prove that I have ever happened to see it during a lunch break. What is Toady up to with the on-line girlfriends thing? Whoops. A new Competition and monthly Poll for December have now started. 28.11.04 Thanks to all those that wrote in to tell us about the scum that was selling several illegal DVD copies of the Transylvania 92 Convention on ebay. Not only have they made a cheap rip off copy from the video (if we'd produced it on DVD it would have been from the original Betacam tapes), but they are selling something that all the guests agreed we could produce as ALL PROFITS went to Great Ormond Street Hospital for sick children. The sellers name was "superbillybob". If anyone knows who this person is email us at TimeWarp. They were also selling pirate DVD's of the stage show, so Rocky Horror Company will also be keen to know their identity. We've emailed ebay to complain about the seller ourselves. Please DO NOT support this nasty thief by buying his/her stolen items. Our Competition and monthly Poll for November end later this week enter now to win. +TV, +GB

22.08.04 The Dammit Janet page is updated as the organisers have now announced a change of venue (only a couple of miles from the first one). Not unheard of for Rocky conventions, the 25th USA fan convention was moved from the Circus Circus hotel to a venue miles away the week before the event, at least we've had some notice on this change! I thought it was about time I updated the Games Room with something new. Our brand new shockwave flash memory game is now available to play on-line. I hope you enjoy playing the game as much as I did writing it, see if you're good enought to get a fanfare at the end. +TV, +GB

15.08.04 Fay Wray, actress, passed away last Monday in New York, at the age of 96. Rob Bagnall put it very well when he wrote.....I thought this was worth a special mention, because not only was she the star of King Kong (one of my all time favourite movies EVER), but she will always have a special place in the hearts of all true Rocky Horror fans (for obvious reasons). May she rest in peace... "that delicate satin-draped frame" As well as "King Kong", Fay also starred in "Dr. X", so she gets two references in SFDF! The Freezer our downloads section is updated a little. I've added a few more graphics for you to use on your own web sites to the page. Copy them onto your own servers/pages rather than reference them here at TimeWarp as the folder they are in will change every now and then without warning. The self-extracting version of the screen saver is also removed as it is incompatible with XP. The original version remains for you to download. +TV, +GB
