"Within just a few years, The Rocky Horror Picture Show grew from an oddball musical to a celebrated cinematic experience of midnight features and outrageous audience participation. This study tells the extraordinary story of the film from initial reception to eventual cult status. Uncovering the film's non-conformist sexual politics and glam-rock attitude, this volume explores its emphasis on the theatrical body (tattooed, cross-gendered, flamboyant), and its defiant queering of cinema history." 12.11.07 Well it looks like the Christopher Biggins and Koo Stark appearing in I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here! rumours have turned out to be just that, unless they decide on adding more celeb's later in the week that is. Interesting enough "Metro" newspaper were still listing Biggins as a contestant this morning in their TV section. So much for "The Sun's" and all the other tabloids rumour factories.

28.01.07 What a great final night that was at the Comedy Theatre for the stage show. Sad to see some of the cast move on, but we are all looking forward to seeing the new cast for the next six months of the tour. Nice to see all the fans there as well. Danny Baker made a great Narrator and he told us he will also be playing the role at Bromley and Wimbledon, so for those that missed him in the West End you will have a chance to see him there. Sorry about the very short notice on this, but we've just heard that this is happening this afternoon. There is no mention of it on either the Rocky Horror Company site or the theatre's own web pages at time of writing. Stephanie and I cannot get to the show ourselves as it is too short notice to get the time off needed or a babysitter for the kids, so if anyone gets there and takes some photo's do send them in!
